Buy Stop Order
An order to buy a security which is entered in at a price above the current offering price. It is triggered when the market price touches or goes through the buy stop price.
A buy order which is to be held until the market price rises to a specified stop price, at which point it becomes a market order. This is not permitted for over-the-counter trading. also called suspended market order.
