Definition 1.
An electronic entry, to the Nasdaq Stock Market, of the amount and price of shares involved in a transaction's not less than a board lot.

The electronic notification by a market maker to NASD of the price and number of shares involved in a transaction in a Nasdaq security. This notification must be made within 90 seconds of the order's execution.
